Police: Tractor Trailer Driver Was Distracted in Moments Leading to Crash

Authorities say it was a lack of attention that caused a tractor trailer crash along Route 89 in Sutton, New Hampshire, Monday afternoon.

The driver of the rig - who police identify as 67-year-old David Moore of Hyde Park, Massachusetts - allegedly told authorities he became distracted while driving.

The truck went off the road and up a rock embankment, and then rolled onto its side.

After an investigation, police said there was no mechanical or medical reason for the crash. They also checked Moore's cell phone and found no evidence of its use prior to the accident.

Moore was issued a summons for negligent driving.

No one was injured in the crash.
