Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, are investigating after a woman was dragged to a wooded area by a male attacker and sexually assaulted.
The incident happened Tuesday night just after midnight.
The victim, a 29-year-old woman, stated she was approached by a 17-year-old male with a thin build as she was walking home from an inner city convenience store.
The two of them conversed as she walked home when at some point during the walk, the male assaulted her. She was able to flee the area and flag down a passing vehicle.
She was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The case remains under investigation and police have not said if they have a suspect.
