Police: Woman Faces Drug Charges, 4 Kids Placed in State Care

Police say a New Hampshire woman's four children have been placed in the care of the state after she was arrested on two warrants on suspicion of selling a narcotic drug.

Police in Manchester say they found and seized some crack-cocaine, over $1,000 and small plastic bags commonly used to package narcotics inside of Sandra Quintanilla's apartment. Her 8-month-old child was sleeping in a bedroom at the time. Her three other children were in school.

Police say all of the children were placed in the care of the Division of Children, Youth and Families because the 39-year-old Quintanilla has no family in the immediate area.

Quintanilla was scheduled to appear in court Thursday. It wasn't immediately known if she had a lawyer and a number couldn't be found for her.
