A man who was found with a gunshot wound died Friday evening, police said.
According to Worcester police, they responded to 15 Everard Street in Worcester, Massachusetts at approximately 7:40 p.m. Friday after a report of a possible gunshot.
When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old Worcester man with a gunshot wound to the head, police said. He was found in a hallway inside the building.
Worcester EMS responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene, police said.
According to police, the investigation is in its early stages, and more information will be released as the investigation progresses and the appropriate notifications are made.
