Police in N.H. Arrest Man Wanted for Child Rape in Kentucky

A man wanted for the rape of a child in Kentucky was arrested Thursday morning in Concord, New Hampshire.

John Wade, 47, of Richmond was being sought on a Madison County warrant in connection with the alleged rape of a child over a period of 10 years.

Information developed Thursday morning that indicated Wade was temporarily working in the Concord area and residing at a hotel on Hall St.

Members of the U.S. Marshals - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, along with Concord Police, arrested Wade without incident.

Wade was processed and charged as a fugitive from justice, based on an outstanding Kentucky arrest warrant. He's being held at the Merrimack County Jail pending his initial court appearance and eventual return to Kentucky to face the allegations.
