Police have identified the person who died in an industrial accident at a business in Johnston.
The Providence Journal reports that the victim was 22-year-old Darwin Perez.
Police were called to J.R. Vinagro Corporation on Plainfield Pike at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say Perez was working a belt-driven crushing and sorting machine when the accident occurred.
The company's website says it's a demolition, recycling and crushing company.
Johnston police, federal workplace safety regulators and the state medical examiner are investigating.
