Poll Finds More Massachusetts Residents Would Support Warren Than Schilling

WBUR poll surveyed 506 likely voters

A new poll finds that former Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling may want to stay in talk radio, rather than try his hand in politics as he recently hinted.

Schilling said in an interview with WRKO Radio in August, he was considering challenging Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren in 2018, when she will be up for re-election.

A poll by WBUR recently surveyed Massachusetts residents and how the radio talk show host would fare with voters.

According to poll results on Wednesday, 54 percent of voters said they would support Warren while 29 percent said they would support Schilling.

The WBUR poll surveyed 506 likely voters from September 7-10.
