Line crews were out all day Friday, clearing away broken branches and repairing wires. Central Maine power says as of 9:30 a.m. Satuday, fewer than 2,500 remained without power

The fire station is one of many places that set up warming shelters for people to get a break.

Central Maine Power says it hopes to have everyone reconnected before Sunday.

The peak number of outages reached nearly 104,000 around 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving.
