A person's head and face were seriously burned Friday after a propane tank exploded in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Police were called around 6:45 p.m. after a tank attached to a gas grill exploded outside a Town Line Road home. The female victim was found with serious burns to her head and face.
The victim was taken to Lahey Hospital in Burlington. Her condition was not known.
The home was not damaged in the incident.
Police are investigating the cause of the explosion.
