Protesters Arrested Outside Power Plant in New Hampshire

Protesters were arrested en masse outside of a power plant in Bow, New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon.

Among a group of roughly 120 protesters, 67 were arrested for criminal trespass at the Merrimack Station, a class B misdemeanor for trespassing on posted property between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

No injuries or property damage was reported.

"The Town of Bow would like to thank our local, county, regional and state partners for their assistance in ensuring that safety remained the top priority for our community, and all those who gathered at the Merrimack Station," Bow Chief of Police Margaret Lougee said.
