A man who allegedly provided a New Hampshire teen with heroin before her overdose death in October was a Drug Enforcement Agency informant since 2014, according to court records obtained by the Union Leader.
Mark Ross of Manchester is charged with giving Evangelique "Eve" Tarmey a drug that caused her death, as well as witness tampering, falsifying physical evidence and conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled drug .
Tarmey died on Oct. 17 at a Rochester, New Hampshire, motel of acute fentanyl intoxication.
The Union Leader reports Ross was paid $2,000 by the DEA three times between March 7, 2014 and Oct. 21, 2015.
Tarmey's mother, 41-year-old Jazzmyn Rood, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, reckless conduct and conspiracy to possess a controlled drug.
Leslie Aberle of Salisbury, Massachusetts, is also facing charges.
