NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy says the NFL is investigating whether the Patriots deflated footballs used in their AFC championship game victory over the Colts.
WTRH Columnist Bob Kravitz first Tweeted that a legal source told him the investigation is underway and that at one point during the game, officials took out a ball and weighed it.

When asked about the reports, the NFL said in an email statement, “We are looking into it.”
Tom Brady, appearing on WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan Show,” apparently laughed when asked about the report and said, “I think I’ve heard it all [now],” according to CSNNE.
He added, “That’s the last of my worries. I don’t even respond to stuff like this.”
