Report: New Location Chosen for Closed Homeless Shelter

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has reportedly picked a new location for a homeless shelter that had to shut down because of bridge concerns.

The Boston Globe reports that the new shelter will be across from the Boston Police Department in the Newmarket area.

About 100 homeless people will be able to move in next month, and by April that number could increase to almost 500.

The Long Island shelter closed in October after the city condemned the bridge that connects the island to the mainland.
