The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office confirmed Friday afternoon that it is investigating an apparent homicide at 296 Main St. in Fremont.
According to a press release, the homicide investigation began after an adult female was found dead in her home. The medical examiner's office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of the woman's death.
The investigation is ongoing.
Seacoastonline.com reported on Friday morning that police were searching for a male suspect in connection with the killing. He was reportedly located on Friday afternoon a short distance from the crime scene.
