Rhode Island Woman Arraigned on Child Abuse, Prostitution Charges

A 3-year-old child reportedly tested positive for cocaine

A Rhode Island woman is reportedly accused of prostitution and child abuse.

WJAR reports Tina Tucker, 36, of Johnston, was faced a judge on first-degree child abuse and procurement of sexual conduct for a fee charges on Tuesday.

Tucker was reportedly arrested by undercover officers at her home Monday night when, a source told WJAR, officers arranged to meet with her after she posted an advertisement online offering herself as an escort for cash.

A 3-year-old was removed from the home by the Department of Children, Youth and Families. The child tested positive for cocaine and was treated a hospital, according to WJAR.

Tucker is being held on $25,000 bail.
