Rollover Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Hurt

One person has died and two others are hospitalized after an overnight crash in Cranston.

State police say a car was heading south on Route 10 shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to go off the road and roll over several times before striking some trees.

The driver, identified as 28-year-old Miguel Revolorio of Providence, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt.

Police say two passengers, a 19-year-old woman and 23-year-old man both from Central Falls, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that were serious but not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash is being investigated by troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks and the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
