Roof Collapse at Vacant Restaurant Causes Gas Leak

Authorities say a roof collapse at a vacant restaurant building in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, caused a gas leak and forced the evacuation of a nearby business, but no one was hurt.

Fire officials say that the roof over what used to be Eddie B's Comfort Food collapsed Tuesday night, filling the closed restaurant with snow. No one was inside at the time.

Authorities closed the road while the gas line was repaired. A beer and wine shop next door was shut down for the night.

Officials are working to restore power.
