A 31-year-old Massachusetts man died after being hit by a car late Monday evening, according to authorities.
Rowley police said officers responded to the scene on Haverhill Street around 11 p.m., where they found the Gloucester man after he had been hit by a 2013 Subaru Impreza.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken by a medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The Subaru driver, identified only as a 57-year-old Georgetown woman, stayed at the scene of the crash, police said.
Authorities with local and state law enforcement agencies responded to the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
