    SUV Struck by Amtrak Train in Vermont

    St. Albans Police say Pamela Lacey, of Highgate, did not yield properly to the Amtrak train Saturday night.

    A Vermont woman was injured when her vehicle was hit by a train Saturday night.

    St. Albans Police say Pamela Lacey of Highgate failed to properly yield to an approaching Amtrak train at a crossing.

    Lacey's SUV was broadsided on the front passenger side as the train pulled into the rail yard.

    Investigators describe Lacey's injuries as minor and say no one was on the train was hurt.

    St. Albans Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call them at 802-524-2166.
