SWAT Teams, Police Respond to Reports of Shots Fired in Revere House

Two men were taken into custody on Sunday after officers and SWAT teams responded to reports of shots being fired at a home in Revere, Massachusetts.

Police responded to the scene at 22 Francis Street where a man was armed and barricaded inside.

Other residents in the house were escorted out of the premises, and some were allowed to return back home around noon.

necn's Jonathan Choe spoke to the returning residents, who were rattled but said they were not hurt.

"This is scary - waking up in the morning and seeing 20-plus police cars in front of your house. You're wondering what's going on," said neighbor Neighbor Victor Alcate.

He said he was scared for his friend who lives two houses away.

Some neighbors said they were asleep during the incident.

Residents on Francis Street were asked to stay inside until the scene was cleared.

There are no reports of any injuries and police have yet to confirm whether all six men from the house were released and if any will be charged.
