Driver Injured in School Bus Crash

The driver of a school bus was injured after crashing into a tree in Maine.

The crash happened in Sanford on Monday morning on Main Street, also known as Route 109.

The children and bus monitor were taken to a hospital as a precaution for cuts and scrapes, but police tell WCSH that the driver, 69-year-old Carole Dearborn, had head and neck injuries.

Sanford School Department also tells WCSH the children were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
