School Bus Jumps Guardrail, Crashes on Highway

A school bus jumped a guardrail and fell down an embankment while traveling on a snowy New Hampshire highway Saturday morning.

State police say the bus driver, who was the only person on board at the time, lost control on I-93 in Manchester, crossing the high-speed lane and landing about 70 feet down the embankment.

There was no immediate word on whether the driver was injured. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Police responded to the crash around 10:15 a.m. Parts of the road were closed for about four hours while crews worked to remove the bus.
