A small school bus was involved in an accident on a highway in Beverly Tuesday, authorities said.
Six of the 11 children on board the school bus had minor injuries, but only one was taken to an area hospital to be treated, according to Massachusetts State Police. The other 10 children were picked up by another bus and taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The incident took place on northbound Route 128 between exits 18 and 19, Beverly police said.
The accident involved a second vehicle and the bus was towed from the scene, state police said.
The van belongs to Brookwood School, according to writing on the vehicle, but the Manchester school told NBC10 Boston that the incident was extremely minor.
