Police: 51-Year-Old Man Hit, Killed by Jeep

A 51-year-old man was killed after being hit by a Jeep on the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border Sunday evening, according to authorities.

Seabrook police say officers responded to Ocean Boulevard at the Salisbury, Massachusetts, border just after 8 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a Jeep and a pedestrian.

The victim, identified as 51-year-old Salisbury resident Andrew Dobson, was taken to Portsmouth Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The name of the Jeep's driver has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call Seabrook police detectives at 603-474-5200.
