3 Armed Robbery Suspects Facing Multiple Charges as Search Continues for 4th Suspect

Police are still searching for fourth suspect who was involved in armed robbery of T-Mobile store in Brockton

Neighbors in Brockton, Massachusetts, are feeling uneasy as police continue searching for an armed robbery suspect still on the run.

A manhunt started Saturday night at the corner of Bristol and Carl avenues in Brockton as police searched for four men allegedly involved in an armed robbery of a T-Mobile store.

The suspects jumped out of a white car down the block from where Suzanne Kelly lives.

She says police ran through her backyard searching for the four, checking under her porch and in her shed.

"It's kind of crazy because I keep looking around myself, making sure the yard is okay, and everybody in the neighborhood is okay," Kelly said. "I did my own sweep this afternoon."

Police captured three of the suspects during their search Saturday. Stephan Stewart, 26, of Dorchester, Dennis Martin, 23, of Boston, and Darius Carter, 27 of Dorchester, were arrested and are facing multiple charges, included armed and masked robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators say they also found two handguns. Carter allegedly shot toward a police car when officers arrived.

"I looked outside my side door there and police motioned me to go back inside."

A clerk was assaulted in the armed robbery at the T-Mobile but police say he is going to be okay.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
