The search is on for a bear that killed a goat in Watertown and a trap has been set up to lure the animal.
Officials from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said they responded to 376 Northfield Road on Thursday to investigate the death of a goat and saw a bear had entered the fenced area and in killed the goat.

If DEEP catches a bear and determines that it is the same one that killed the goat, it could be euthanized.
