Tractor Trailer Crash on Mass. Turnpike Causes Delays

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. in the City Depot section.

Brookfield Road below was closed because debris from the fire fell, but has since reopened.

Police say a woman also went into labor on the eastbound side, so police had to manuever to get her through.

A tractor-trailer that was involved in a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Charlton caught fire Friday morning.

There were no reported injuries.
