Severe delays on the MBTA's Red Line were reported on Monday morning amid a major snow cleanup in the Greater Boston area.

According to the agency, the delays were due to a disabled train near Harvard Station, delaying trains in both directions as a result.

The MBTA says the delay was caused by a power problem on the train, which is an older model expected to be replaced within three years.
