A tornado warning that had been issued for Worcester County in Massachusetts on Tuesday has been canceled.
However, severe thunderstorm warnings around New England, including Worcester and Middlesex counties in Massachusetts, remain in effect.

The National Weather Service says they're working to confirm reports of a rain-wrapped tornado near Hubbardston; however, police say they have not received reports of widespread damage yet.
Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency says several communities have reported possible microbursts or straight-line wind damage; however, there have been no confirmed reports of tornadoes touching down.
NWS has also confirmed they've received a photo of a funnel-like cloud and that they're investigating.
Thunderstorms can produce damaging winds, destructive hail, deadly lightning and very heavy rain.

Heavy rains can also flood roads quickly so do not drive into areas where water covers the road.

Authorities are redirecting traffic in various parts of Massachusetts.
In Boston's West Roxbury neighborhood, soutbound lanes of the VFW Parkway near the Home Depot have been closed as crews remove large trees that fell.
Brookline police have advised drivers to avoid Fuller, Center and Gibbs streets, Davis Avenue and Davis Court, and Warren, Cottage and Lee streets.
The Middlesex Turnpike has been closed at Second Avenue due to downed wires, according to Burlington fire officials, and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
The MBTA also reports moderate delays on the Green Line due to the storm.
Earlier Tuesday, a line of powerful thunderstorms swept through southern New England. The storms caused numerous power outages.
National Grid said more than 100,000 customers remained without electricity at noon on Tuesday in Rhode Island. Utilities also reported thousands of outages in Massachusetts.
Downed trees blocked many roadways and several police cruisers in Barrington, Rhode Island, were damaged when a tree fell behind the station.
