Authorities say a suspect wanted in one of two unrelated fatal weekend shootings in Chelsea, Massachusetts, has turned himself in.
The Suffolk district attorney and Chelsea police chief said Wednesday that 23-year-old Antonio Rivera surrendered on a warrant charging him with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Rivera had been sought in the killing of 36-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez after an argument at the French Naturalization Club early Saturday. It's not immediately known who is representing Rivera.
Rivera was held without bail. He was additionally ordered held for violating the terms of his probation for a May conviction in an unrelated drug case.
In an unrelated case, Hector Ramires was arraigned on a murder charge in the death of Catherine Gomez, killed a little over an hour before Rodriguez. Prosecutors said Gomez was shot inside her home, apparently by a stray bullet fired during an altercation in the street. They do not believe she was targeted.
