    The Massachusetts State Police have ended the silver alert for a missing Lowell woman after she was found safe Sunday night.

    According to police, Carmen Cosme, 67, was last seen at her residence, 73 Bailey Street, on foot at about 12 p.m. Sunday. A neighbor reported seeing her at approximately 4 p.m.

    Police describe Cosme as being 5'2" and approximately 200 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.

    She may be carrying bags of personal possessions, police said.
