Snow and ice on the Massachusetts Turnpike led to multiple crashes on Mother's Day, State Police said.
According to officials, the speed limit on I-90 was reduced from the New York line to mile marker 44 after bad conditions led to multiple crashes.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation responded to the scene to treat the roadway.
