Snow Removal Slows Apartment Complex Power Restoration

According to National Grid, 360 customers at the Quarry Hills Apartment Complex in Quincy, Massachusetts, went without power Friday night.

According to National Grid, 360 customers at the Quarry Hills Apartment Complex in Quincy, Massachusetts, went without power Friday night.

The issue stemmed from a faulty underground cable, National Grid confirms. Due to heavy snow, a company was contracted to clear the ground before National Grid could access the problem.

National Grid was able to begin looking at the problem Saturday morning. Power was restored around 11 a.m.
