A social media threat prompted a police presence Friday at a high school in Peabody, Massachusetts.
Police said the threat targeted Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, where officers and K-9 units are sweeping the campus as a precaution.
Authorities said school is so far scheduled to start at its normal time.
Police did not disclose the nature of the threat.
