Pedestrian Killed in Shrewsbury Crash, Sources Say

Clothes could be seen in the road following the accident

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Sunday night in Massachusetts, sources tell NBC10 Boston.

The crash happened Sunday night at the corner of Elm Street in Shrewsbury, and clothes could be seen laying in the road.

It appears the car involved did stop. It could be seen with visible damage to its windshield.

Part of Route 9 eastbound was shut down following the incident.

It's unclear how the accident happened, but a crash reconstruction team was on scene to help with the investigation.

NBC10 Boston reached out to Shrewsbury police but did not hear back Sunday night.
