Speaker Eves Calls for House Special Session Regarding Gov. LePage

Members of the House have until Tuesday evening to respond

According to WCSH, Speaker Mark Eves has called for a House special session to take action regarding Maine Governor Paul LePage's conduct.

The members of the House have until Tuesday evening to respond.

Last week, Gov. LePage sparked controversy after making racially incensitive comments about drug dealers in Maine.

He also left an obscene tiraid on Maine Democratic Representative Drew Gattine's voicemail.

LePage appologized for the rant; however, it was not enough for some legislators, demanding resignation and suggesting corrective measures for the governor.

LePage announced in a press conference that he will not resign despite the controversies.
