    Woman's Body Found in Bar Harbor, Maine

    Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says a state police dog discovered the body around noon Saturday at the intersection of Route 3 and West Street.

    State police in Maine say a woman's body was found in the tourist town of Bar Harbor.

    Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says a state police dog discovered the body around noon Saturday at the intersection of Route 3 and West Street.

    The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy and identification.

    Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Bangor at 207-973-3700.
