Stop & Shop Issues Voluntary Recall of Honey Rotisserie Chicken

Stop & Shop has issued a voluntary recall for any deli-prepared honey rotisserie chicken.

The company said the recall is isolated to three chickens that were purchased at 150 New Park Avenue in Hartford. The chickens were sold between 4 and 5 p.m. Saturday.

The chickens were cooked properly but they did not meet the company's product code and quality guidelines, Stop & Shop said in a statement.

Consumers are advised not to eat and to return any honey rotisserie chicken bought at the New Park Avenue Stop & Shop on Saturday.
