A water main break in Roslindale, Massachusetts caused a big mess Sunday morning as water flooded Cliftmont Street after an eight-inch pipe broke.
Authorities were called to the scene around 9 a.m. after an 8-inch water pipe burst at the intersection of Cliftmont and Canterbury Street in Hyde Park, causing heavy flooding, according to the Boston Water and Sewer Commission.
Crews spent the day working to fix the pipe and were able to contain the break Sunday afternoon.
As of Sunday evening, all water service had been restored to the area.
