Students Involved in “Inappropriate” Social Media Incident

School officials said several high schoolers were involved

School officials in Exeter, New Hampshire, advised parents on Wednesday of an "inappropriate" social media incident involving high school students.

Superintendent of Schools Michael Morgan sent a message to parents advising them of "a recent social media incident at Exeter High School." The reported situation, he said, involved several Exeter High School students and the "inappropriate use" of personal technology.

"The District is aware of this matter and is dealing with it in accordance with adopted school policies and procedures," Morgan said in the message, posted on the school district's website. He said no further information is publicly available at this time.

Students told Seacoastonline the incident may have involved nude photos of girls that were circulated by students at the school. Police and school officials have not released any specifics on the incident, however.
