Young people have rallied at the Rhode Island state house in support of gun-control measures.

More than 100 people attended the event on Saturday, one year after the massive March for Our Lives rallies were held in Washington D.C. and cities across the country.

Those demonstrations followed the February 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida that killed 17 people.

Tori Richard is co-founder of March for Our Lives Rhode Island and an organizer of Saturday's rally.
