Sunny Stretch Continues Through Weekend

The beautiful weather continues this weekend, with more sunshine across New England Sunday. Highs will pop well into the 70s, and close to 80, in most spots. The South Coast, Cape, and Islands will be a touch cooler thanks to a sea breeze. Expect highs around 70 there.

Skies will start mostly clear Sunday night before clouds increase after midnight. Lows will drop into the 50s for most.

Clouds continue to increase on Monday, but it’s mainly a dry day. The only exception is in parts of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, where a few showers arrive during the afternoon. The rest of us will see the rain arrive at night, after highs reach the 70s to around 80 during the day.

Showers, downpours, and even a few rumbles of thunder continue through midday Tuesday, then we’ll dry out during the afternoon. Expect highs in the 70s with a muggy feeling to the air.
