Sunshine, Cooler Temperatures Move in for Friday

What a difference a day makes. Our taste of summer was short-lived as Wednesday ended up being the warmest day of September (so far) with a high temperature in Boston of 87 degrees.

Thursday ended up being overcast, cool and rainy, but brighter times are ahead.

Sunshine will make a return Friday, but it remains seasonably chilly. High temperatures will only climb into the 60s. Another warm-up awaits us for the weekend.

Saturday is only slightly warmer with a few showers, but Sunday is looking brighter and warmer. At this point, Sunday looks to be the pick of the weekend.

Showers are possible to start off next week. Monday’s high temperatures will stay in the lower 70s. Another warm-up is likely next week. Temperatures will reach the 80s once again by next Thursday.

All eyes will be on the tropics. A cluster of thunderstorms may evolve into a tropical depression or storm over the next 36-48 hours. All interests up and down the east coast should be watching the tropics closely.
