Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal weekend shooting in Brockton.
Darnell Moody was held without bail pending a bail hearing after pleading not guilty to murder at his arraignment Tuesday.
The 29-year-old Moody, of Brockton, is charged with killing 28-year-old Quentin Phillips of Boston last weekend.
Phillips showed up at the hospital just after 2 a.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died a short time later.
The friends who brought Phillips to the hospital say he was shot while sitting in a car in a parking lot.
The Enterprise reports that a bail hearing for Moody is scheduled for Wednesday because his court-appointed attorney could not make it to the arraignment.
