A Maine man accused of fatally striking a bicyclist and fleeing the scene took a plea deal Monday.
Affiliate WCSH reports Scarborough resident Devin Brown was sentenced to 12 years with all but five. suspended.
Brown was accused of striking Brandon Dumond in Windham and leaving the scene, crashing his car a half-mile away.
He pled not guilty to a charge of aggravated operating under the influence and was later indicted on a charge of manslaughter.
