A man wanted in connection with two homicides in Providence, Rhode Island, has been apprehended in New York City.
The Providence Journal reports that 28-year-old Malcolm Querido of North Providence was arrested Monday.
Querido is wanted on a murder charge in the stabbing death of 38-year-old Robert Bullard of Medway, Massachusetts, in September.
Police responding to a Providence apartment found Bullard had been stabbed in the chest. He died at Rhode Island Hospital.
Police say Querido is also a person of interest in last month's fatal shooting of 40-year-old Kareem Barnes.
It is unclear whether Querido is represented by an attorney.
