A man suspected of robbing a bank in Gloucester, Massachusetts was arrested on board a bus in Lynn on Monday.
Massachusetts State Police said Michael Robinson, 40, of Gloucester, was taken into custody after officers stopped the bus on Chestnut Street in Lynn and located him on board.
Robinson was suspected in the robbery of the Institution for Savings on Parker Street in Gloucester on Monday morning.
State police said troopers from their Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section were already searching for Robinson after he allegedly cut off an electronic monitoring bracelet that he was ordered to wear as a condition of his probation for a past conviction for kidnapping.
The unarmed bank robbery remains under investigation by state and local police.
No further investigation was immediately available.
