A daycare in Bangor, Maine was closed for the day on Wednesday after staff members complained about feeling high after eating homemade cookies sent in by a parent.
According to Bangor police, the Watch Me Shine day care called police after several of the staff ate the cookies then felt like they had used marijuana.
None of the children at the daycare consumed any of the cookies, police added.
Day care management and police investigators contacted parents about the incident and the day care was closed for the day.
All of the baked goods were seized for testing. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
