TD Garden Stabbing Suspect Held on $50K Bail

A suspect arrested in a stabbing that occurred Wednesday night during a Boston Celtics game at the TD Garden has been held on $50,000 bail.

Twenty-year-old Brandon Jones of Braintree was arrested, Boston Police announced Thursday afternoon.

Police were notified of the attack late in the fourth quarter of the game between the Celtics and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The victim, a man in his early 20s, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jones was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, which police confirm was a knife.

His open bail on two unrelated cases out of Quincy Districy Court was revoked and he was held without bail pending a probation surrender hearing on a third case out of Quincy.

Jones is due back in court on April 14.
