Tanker Overturns, Spills 3,500+ Gallons of Milk on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire

An investigation is underway in Tilton, New Hampshire, after a truck overturned on Interstate 93 early Tuesday morning, spilling milk all over the roadway.

State police said troopers responded to the crash on the southbound side of the interstate where the truck had attempted to take the exit 20 off ramp and somehow rolled over.

Authorities said when the truck came to a rest on its side, an estimated 3,500 to 4,000 gallons of milk that the vehicle was carrying spilled out. The truck is registered to Mountain Milk, of North Haverhill, New Hampshire, according to police.

The driver, Gregory Rogers, 64, was taken to Concord Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation but speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
